Two infant sons, age 3 years and 6 years of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Morris of Bainbridge, were buried Thursday in the same grave following death of spinal meningitis. The illness of the lads was brief. The three-year-old son (Kline Lodell 2 July 1916 – 2 Dec 1919) was the first to be stricken. He was taken ill on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock and died at 4 o’clock that afternoon. The six-year-old son (Wallace Terril 28 March 1914 – 3 Dec 1919) was stricken Wednesday afternoon and died on Thursday morning at 3 o’clock.  Both Dr. Cully and Dr. Conn of Bainbridge attended the children and did all possible to save their lives but to no avail.  The bodies were taken to Mace, Ind for burial.  Mr. Morris is a real estate dealer and manager of the skating rink at Bainbridge.  He and his family have resided there for the past ten years. Mr. and Mrs. Morris have two sons and two daughters, all older than the two called by death. - kz
